Megan
My daughter, Megan, was diagnosed as having mild right-sided Hemiplegia in March 2005. As a parent, I want to do everything I can to help Megan be the best that she can be. Toddlers, being toddlers, need a lot of variety to keep them interested. I really enjoy thinking of new ways to make Megan’s exercises fun, and wanted to share what I’ve been doing with other parents in a similar situation. Each activity is marked to show whether it helps with arm stretching, arm weight bearing, hip or leg strengthening, weight transference or hand function. - Claire

Jamie
Jamie has diplegia. He enjoys learning and practicing dance moves as part of his physio. The dances are great physio exercises for his balance and coordination and are fun too! His favourites are the Macarena and the Time Warp, he also likes the Fast Food Song, Cha Cha Slide and Follow da Leader. The ‘Dance Party’ set has a DVD which goes through all the dance moves slowly.
